£26K - £27K + OT + Shift Allowance for PM Element

We are looking for a new light assembly operative who has a background within precision engineering's for a small but very busy client in the Whetstone area of Leicestershire.

This is a role working a rotating early and late shift (you must rotate).

You will be working within a clean room environment and your duties will including polishing and chemically coating optical products used in the defence sector. This is a mixture of standing and sitting, using hand tools, cloths, tweezers, and some large-scale production machinery.

Some of the work is very small and you will be expected to perform your own inspection work.

It's a super nice team, everyone is very friendly, you will be made to feel welcome, and you receive proper training on the processes.

What skills and experience are needed?

To be considered, you DO need to have a superb eye for detail, be flexible enough to work the shifts, be interested, reliable and someone who either has worked within precision engineering before or a person who has some form of formal engineering qualification.

• £26K - £27K (DOE) per year.
