£75-80k OTE inclusive of salary, car allowance and bonus

As a long standing market leading in the dealership, distribution and service of OEM heavy plant this business has a reputation for customer service, quality and technical expertise.

After a few structural changes, which has allowed the business to reshape for the future, they are now plotting a new growth plan and are looking for an experienced techno commercial individual to lead the North England service team.

Managing a team of expert workshop and field engineers, you’ll be P and L responsible and given the autonomy to deliver service growth for the business. As this is a broad general management role you’ll be responsible for sales, quality, HSE and of course technical excellence in service delivery.

The successful candidate really needs to have

• A good understanding of mechanical equipment and principles, ideally heavy plant
• Experience of workshop management of field service management, or both
• A good commercial understanding of how to run a service function profitability, including customer negotiations and service pricing.

This role has a clear career progression opportunity beyond this remit today so those that are ambitious should see this as a progressive step in their career.
