Laboratory Technician

Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced Laboratory Technician to join our well established client. 

Job Duties: 

• Performing laboratory tests to produce reliable and precise data to support Quality Assurance and New Product Development. 
• Carrying out routine tasks accurately and precisely. 
• Preparing specimens and samples; assembling, maintaining and operating standard laboratory equipment. 
• Ensuring the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced. 
• Recording and interpreting results to present to senior colleagues. 
• Using computers and performing simple mathematical calculations. 
• Keeping up to date with technical developments. 
• Maintain high housekeeping standards. 
• Ensure that all assigned work is delivered in a timely manner. 
• Communicate with both internal and external customers. 

Requirements: 

• Excellent team working skills. 
• Strong communication skills. 
• Quality conscious and methodical approach to work, with excellent attention to detail. 
• Experience of working in a laboratory environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. 
• Ability to effectively and efficiently manage own workload and work to deadlines. 

Working hours: Days, Nights and Afters rotation.

Salary: £26,000 - £31,000 Per Annum. 

This is a Full time, Permanent position.
