We are currently working alongside a leading Highways & Maintenance company to fill a position of a Sub Agent, based in Daish Way, Isle of Wight.
The potential candidate will be responsible for delivering on a carriage way construction. Delivery of carriageway schemes from analysis of SCANNER data to delivery of the scheme on site.
Key Responsibilities;
- Delivery of carriageway resurfacing schemes and LTP schemes post CIP.
- Experience of project management and ability to manage schemes to budget and programme.
- Liaison with Authority and client.
- Ability to develop reports and presentations.
- Recognise Health and Safety is an essential element of the role and promotes this through safety audits and TBT.
- Have a big involvement in the Rectification Project, which will consist of a reconstruction of the highways network
- Able to identify areas of business improvement and implement new strategies.
- Understand and implement different types of surfacing/surface dressing schemes.
Ideal Candidate;
- Driving license
- Knowledge of highways/civils works
- Able to proficiently use IT
- Good understanding of engineering principles
- Good knowledge of surfacing/surface dressing
