Solar PV Project Manager - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
Salary £50k-£65k pro rata + Benefits
Location - Woking / Surrey
Alecto Recruitment Ltd currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project / Delivery Manager within the Solar PV industry to join a leading Renewable Energy and Engineering business.
Job Summary:
- Responsible for the Project Management and Delivery of Solar projects.
- Ensure all project installations are efficient, safe and working to maximum capacity.
- Inspect work carried out by engineers / contractors and responsible for quality control, snagging etc.
- Organise repairs / remedials where required.
- Adhere to relevant Health & Safety procedures and comply with electrical and building control standards.
- Planning and project budgeting, ensuring budgets are closely managed and accurately reported.
- Assist in reviewing estimates and project design.
- Develop and maintain a project plan for the delivery of solar array projects.
- Initially a 6 month fixed term contract, with potential to go long term.
- You'll need to be based commutable to Berkshire, Hampshire, or Woking/Surrey with some travel to customer sites required.
Key Skills Required:
- Previous background and experience within the Solar Photovoltaic (PV) industry.
- Project Management and Project Delivery experience. Ideally ONC or PRINCE related qualification).
- Electrical / Construction engineering and related background.
- Background in asset management (data collection, reporting, setting job plans and schedules).
- BS 7671 18th Edition and recognised Electrical Apprenticeship.
- City & Guilds 2399 Solar PV Installation course desired.
- Understanding of meter data communications systems and protocols.
- Budget setting and cost management experience desired.
