Role Overview:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including both manufacturing and restaurant locations. Working within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and infrastructure to uphold the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a wide range of machinery and equipment, including but not limited to production lines, HVAC systems, and kitchen appliances.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, troubleshooting issues, and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks according to schedule, identifying potential risks and implementing measures to prevent equipment failures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives, contributing technical expertise and insights to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory levels, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry, ideally with exposure to food production or restaurant operations.
- Strong electrical bias with relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, 17th Edition Wiring Regulations).
- Proficient in diagnosing electrical faults, conducting repairs, and performing electrical installations in compliance with safety regulations.
