Our client is looking for a Assembly Operative to provide additional support to their Assembly / Finishing Cell areas, as well as providing cover for the stores areas.
Responsibilities (Assembly)
- Assembling products for customer requirements
- Component Test Inspection (CTI) including allocation of rack locations
- Pre pack orders / parts
Duties (Stores)
- Providing cover during holiday / absence and busy periods
- Booking in materials and cosumables, ensuring they are put away correctly
- Raw material handling
- Stocking checking
- Disposal of waste material
- FULL UK DRIVING LICENSE
- Forklift license is an advantage but not essential
- Pick and pack for daily customer despatch
The following attributes are essential for this role and full training will be provided
- Experience working in stores
- IT Literate
- Knowledge / experience working in the engineering sector would be advantageous
- Team worker
- Good organisational skills
