Electrical Shift Engineer

Our client is currently looking for a fully qualified, experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join their team on a 4 on / 4 off shift basis (7AM - 7PM and 10AM - 10PM) on a commercial property in Westminster, City of London. This is a great role to gain further experience in your career, also offering internal progression within the organisation.

You will undergo PPM and Reactive Maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, ensure statuary compliance is being met, strengthen relations with the client and respond to emergencies when on site.

To be successful in this role, you will need be fully qualified in Electrical Installations, (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent) at least 5 years prior experience within commercial maintenance and posses a client facing attitude.

Duties:

• PPMs & Reactive maintenance
• Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps BMS Operation
• Organising subcontractors
• Quotations 
• Health & Safety
• Logbooks
• Risk assessments
• Permits to work

Requirements:

• City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Installations
• At least 5 years prior experience in commercial maintenance 
• Career driven and motivated
• Polite and personable
• Apprentice trained - Desirable 

Salary and Benefits:

• £45,000 - £50,000 per annum 
• 4 on / 4 off shift pattern - 7AM - 7PM / 10AM - 10PM
