Duties & Responsibilities for Mobile HVAC Engineer:

  • Air Conditioning Maintenance: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and repairs on a range of air conditioning systems, including split units, VRV/VRF systems
  • Fault Diagnosis: Conduct thorough diagnostic and troubleshooting activities to identify and rectify faults in AC systems, VRV/VRF systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
  • To respond in a prompt and effective manner to all reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests associated with the heating and ventilation systems, pumps, water tanks, valves, pipe work and associated mechanical systems or items To respond to call outs and cover breakdowns and emergencies associated with the mechanical services aspects of the contract as required.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including FGAS, service reports, PPM schedules, and equipment performance. Always adhere to industry regulations and health and safety guidelines.

Personal Specification for Mobile HVAC Engineer

  • AC Engineering Expertise: Evidenced experience in maintaining, servicing, and fault-finding on VRV/VRF system & AC systems.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficient in diagnosing electrical mechanical, and refrigeration faults within VRV/VRF & AC systems.
  • Client Communication: Provide excellent customer service, liaising with clients as required to address any concerns or maintenance-related issues.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, contractors, and management to ensure efficient execution and successful completion of maintenance tasks.

Essential Qualifications for Mobile HVAC Engineer

  • Possess relevant industry qualifications (e.g., NVQ/C&G Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent).
  • Current & Valid F-Gas certification (Category 1)
  • 18th Edition
  • City & Guilds in Electrical Installations
  • Awareness of health and safety laws and regulations relating to AC engineering and maintenance activities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients & team members
