Warehouse Operative - 24-25k annually - Permanent Role

Alecto Recruitment are proud to be working with a national market leader with extensive experience in all things solar and renewable.

They are currently looking to expand their warehousing team with an exciting full time permanent employment opportunity for a warehouse operative / storeperson to assist in the running of their Exter warehouse.

The Role:

• £24,000 - £25,000 + 25 days holiday, uniform & PPE and pension scheme
• Efficiently manage the warehouse for goods in, goods out, system kit picking and returns
• Take deliveries and move stock where required, using lifting gear or forklift truck
• Proactively maintain stock levels, identifying and reporting discrepancies
• Conduct weekly and monthly stock takes
• Ensure all delivery and returns paperwork is logged efficiently on internal systems
• Process any faulty materials ready to be returned to suppliers
• Take pride in keeping the warehouse environment safe, clean and organised at all times
• Dispose of general waste, recycling and contaminated waste correctly

Requirements:

• Experience working in a similar role within a fast-paced warehouse or distribution centre
• Full UK driving licence and forklift licence
• Physically fit to meet the demands of a warehouse operations role
• Flexible and proactive approach to working, hours range from 7am-4pm and 8am-5pm
