MIG & Stick Welder

£16p/hr, Days, 39hrs per week + O.T, Days, Immediate Starts, 1 month contract initially

Interaction Recruitment are looking for an experienced, Apprentice trained MIG and Stick Welder to work for a Manufacturing firm located in Gildersome. The role is initially a 1-month contract but has the chance to get extended once you prove yourself.

The ideal candidate:

-Apprentice trained or time served

-Qualified in all aspects of General Steel/Metal Fabrication and Welding

-Must be able to MIG and Stick Weld to high standards

-Reading and working from Technical Drawings

-TIG Welding knowledge is beneficial but not essential

-Knowledge of working with Mild Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium

-Must be familiar using Guillotines, Punches, Drills, Saws and Rollers

-Ideally have a full Driving License

-CSCS Card would be advantageous

-Working to ISO 9001 and EN 1090 Quality standards

Day to day tasks will include:

-Welding/Fabricating and Assembling a wide variety of different products

-Sire measuring and preparation of details

-Preparation of cutting lists

-Material call offs

-Some installation work may be required

Working a 39hrs per week, you will be contracted to work Monday to Friday at a Pay Rate of £16p/hr with overtime paid at time + ½.
