Junior Mechanical Estimator

A well-established Air Conditioning company are recruiting for a Junior Mechanical Estimator within the Croydon area. Working on commercial properties for mostly commercial Cat B fit outs, working on both existing and new projects. Full training will be provided for the role. The ideal candidate will ideally be looking to further progress their career and grow within the company.

The Successful Junior Mechanical Estimator will be:

• Junior Mechanical Estimator will send enquiries to manufacturers and sub-contractors via emails and/or obtain quotations via email or telephone
• Junior Mechanical Estimator will keep enquiries' status updated within the tender review document (value, dates, contact point etc),
• Junior Mechanical Estimator to have the ability to understand BOQ's and Drawings for take off
• Junior Mechanical Estimator will be working on projects valuing from £750k to £2 million
• Junior Mechanical Estimator will benefit from a basic salary of up to £45k dependent on experience + Bonus scheme

The successful Junior Mechanical Estimator would have:

• Junior Mechanical Estimator will have experience producing accurate and detailed cost proposals
• Junior Mechanical Estimator will need to have strong IT skills, including but not limited to ENSIGN and Excel
• Junior Mechanical Estimator will be a commutable distance of Croydon
• Junior Mechanical Estimator will have worked in FM Hard services sector

Junior Mechanical Estimator will benefit from a basic salary of up to £45k dependent on experience + Bonus scheme
