Area Sales Manager - Machinery & Machine Tools - South England - Field Based - £35k Basic + Commission + Car + Pension + More.

Are you an experienced Machinery Sales professional with experience of selling Machine Tool Equipment such as Lathes, Millers, Borers (CNC & Conventional)?

Do you come from a 'hands on' engineering / technician / machinery operation background and feel comfortable in a range of different manufacturing environments?

Would you like the opportunity to work for a business established over 30 years ago with a rich history and their own machinery brand who pride themselves on quality service, from sales to support?

Are you based anywhere South of the Midlands and a holder of a full UK Driving Licence?

If the answers to the above are yes, our client are looking to add to their sales division due to a growing worldwide demand in their machinery and equipment. The role would see you take responsibility for the whole of the South of England.

What you need….

An engineering background - the role would be ideal for someone who has completed an apprenticeship as a Machinist or Toolmaker.

Experience selling into manufacturing sites.

A full UK Driving Licence.

Good attention to detail - the ability to identify machinery and machine tool sales opportunities in a range of manufacturing environments is the key to success in this role.

Excellent customer service skills.

Our key client operating in the Machinery and Machine Tool manufacturing sector are looking for a Area Sales Manager to develop and grow machine tool sales for the South of England. The role is suitable for someone who has previous sales knowledge of Machine Tools and will be predominately home based.

Our client has been established for over 30 years and are a supplier of Machine Tool equipment such as lathes, millers, horizontal borers etc, being either conventional or CNC.

There is a wide portfolio of products so you will be able to provide clients with a solution to their requirements. Our client pride themselves on providing excellent customer service and this is an opportunity for a progressive thinking sales person to develop a career in machine tools sales.
