Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Dursley

Pay Range/details: £13.21- £14.76 per hour

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

A leading Textile Manufacturer based in Cam, Dursley, is looking for a trainee Machine Operator to join their spinning department. The position is full time on double day OR night shifts and after training the successful candidate will have the opportunity to join on a permanent contract. Full training will be given due to company processes but ideally you will have a manufacturing or engineering background with machine operating experience.

Key Responsibilities – Machine Operator

• Supporting Machinists with materials
• Operating machines
• Ensuring all products produced meet company standards
• Quality checking products
• Reporting any defects to Supervisors

Qualifications & Requirements – Machine Operator

• Ability to work using own initiative
• Excellent attention to detail
• Team player
• Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment

What we can offer – Machine Operator

• Weekly rotating shift between: AM - Monday-Thursday, 06:00-14:00 & Friday, 06:00- 13:00 and PM - Monday-Thursday, 14:00- 22:00 & Friday, 13:00- 20:00 OR Monday to Thursday 22:00- 06:00 & Friday 20:00- 03:00
