A well-established Engineering Company based in Aberdeen are now looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join their team. As part of their Site Services division, you will be involved in the removal, disassembly, refurbishment, assembly, installation and commissioning of mechanical components. You will be joining a hardworking team who deliver high quality completions to their clients. They are looking for an individual who possesses the same ethos and takes pride in their work.

Main Responsibilities:

• Carry out the removal / Installation of mechanical components from the customer’s sites.
• Disassembly / assembly of mechanical components as required.
• Cleaning / protecting mechanical components as required.
• Carry out conditional reporting on mechanical components.
• Carry out dimensional checks and sizing of mechanical components using calibrated equipment.
• Carry out refurbishment of mechanical components as required.
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
• Ahere to all health and safety requirements.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Ability to use calibrated equipment for accurate measurement and dimensional checking.
• Organisational ability and time management skills.
• Demonstrated self-starter with high initiative and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces.
• Able to work away from home as required.
• Able to work overtime, periodic weekends and night shift if needed.
