Wright Engineering, an engineering and construction industry leader, are recruiting for site plater/welders to join our construction division on a permanent basis.
- Working on sites and projects throughout the UK
- Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:00 + optional overtime
- £17.93 per hour basic pay + £1.87 per hour working away bonus
- Pre-booked hotel accommodation - single rooms
- Daily working away food & drink allowance
- Overtime rates of £26.90 per hour and £35.86 per hour
- 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
- Free secure on-site parking
The role:
- Working on a diverse range of projects in sectors such as Power Stations, Quarries, Construction, Manufacturing and more.
- Travelling to various sites to work in new and challenging environments.
- Perform precision welding and plating tasks in medium to heavy engineering settings.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications to execute site-based modifications.
- Fabricate and join metal parts using various welding processes and materials for construction and structural integrity.
- Problem solving on-site issues and ensuring adherence to the highest safety and quality standards.

Experience:
- FCAW Welding - 3 years
- MIG Welding - 3 years
- MMA Welding - 3 years
- CCNSG Safety Passport / CSCS
