Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Basildon, Essex

Salary: £40,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 7am – 4pm (Friday early finish)

My client who is a leading facility services company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team based in Basildon, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to work in an office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems and equipment.
• Conduct inspections to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of systems.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.

Requirements:

• Qualified to a minimum of Level 2 in Mechanical (or related) + F-Gas
• Proven experience as a Mechanical / HVAC Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical & AC systems and equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively.
• Valid driver's license (Preferred)
