This role is a partially start up position, we are passionate and committed to our environmental impact and align our objectives and operations to ISO 14001. This role provides a pivotal stance in achieving our sustainability goals. As a start up role, this is an opportunity for the right candidate to make this their own!

The Sustainability Manager Role (not limited to):

  • Management of the Sustainability business function to demonstrate a clear, defined department function across the business.
  • Devise, build and grow a sustainable culture, brand and department in a 360 role.
  • Analyse, collate and document cardon raw data.
  • Communicate, coordinate, liaise with department heads, senior teams to gather data and covert into carbon emissions.
  • Generate reports to senior management to make informed decisions of carbon reduction targets and objectives.
  • Proactively source accurate and sound information for carbon emissions functions
  • Proactively seek, discuss, educate our supply chain on the importance of sustainability.
  • Communicate the business’ sustainability initiatives internally and externally
  • Actively promoting the business’ sustainability initiatives and development to key stakeholders
  • Deliver sustainability training to the wider business to build understanding
  • Develop with external bodies EPD’s and embodied carbon factors
  • Develop a stand alone function that forms a fundamental aspect of the compliance team not only for A&F Sprinklers but for our subsidiary.

The Ideal Skills of the Sustainability Manager Role:

  • Experience within a similar role is advantageous
  • Comfort and desire for data analysis, interpretation and gathering.
  • A self starter and proactive mindset who is comfortable to work at own initiative.
  • Attention to detail and ability to apply analytical thinking in problem solving.
  • Excellent communication/customer facing skills with clear discipline and organising.
  • A keen interest in sustainability, its requirements, Government policies.
  • (Desirable) Knowledge and experience with ISO 14001
