Test & Validation Engineer - Desford (Hybrid) - Up to £33/hr - Inside IR35

Do you have test & development experience in automotive, construction or off-road? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Test & Validation Engineer, and the role comes with a contract rate of £33.00 per hour.

In your first week in this Test & Validation Engineer role, you can expect to be out in the test yard testing a variety of different off highway machines. This is a hands on opportunity with varied tasks.

Testing is to make sure of three things; that the machine is delivering what the customer wants, to make sure they comply with all legal requirements and finally to protect the client regarding warranty.

You will be responsible for making sure the relevant testing takes place and communicate results clearly. Must be highly organised, an example of this is to order the correct testing equipment and gathering the data, analysing this and helping designers improve product.

• Test & development experience in automotive, construction or off-road.
• Detailed evidence of experience in test work on machines and show knowledge of what they are capturing data for.
• Drive to work from own initiative and problem solve.
• Great communication skills.
• Knowledge of ISO 17025 highly desirable.
