Mechanical engineer - Woking - £50k - £60k plus bonus benefits - Hydrogen / ccus / Oil& Gas / Water / Energy

What you will enjoy doing

  • You will provide mechanical engineering assistance to operations, including supporting the Engineering Management of Change process and overseeing equipment repairs and replacements
  • You will take responsibility for the mechanical engineering deliverables on large multi-discipline projects, or managing the delivery of smaller single discipline projects, to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, while ensuring equipment is fit for purpose and meets all relevant internal and external standards and legislation
  • Also, you will provide technical authority guidance and support and take ownership of a number of internal standards
  • You will undertake internal audits and support incident investigations
  • You will contribute to and deliver continuous improvement objectives
  • And lastly, you will support the development of less experienced engineers within the business

What makes you great

  • You are qualified to bachelors and master’s level in mechanical engineering or a similar subject
  • Furthermore, you have 5+ years of experience providing Engineering support to operations and/or projects in the process industry, working with pressure systems and pressure equipment
  • And lastly, you work with integrity, role modelling the behaviours aligned to being an inclusive workplace
