ROLE: Health & Safety Manager
STATUS: Contract Outside IR35, 4 months
LOCATION: Cheshire
START: May 2024
Addison Project require a contractor to provide Health & Safety Services for an onshore process sector construction project in Cheshire.
Services to be provided:
- Review of design packages to ensure safe-effective installation methodologies.
- Assist in developing the installation construction programme.
- Assist in developing health and safety management systems on site including regular safety audits.
- Management of contractor safety managers
- Implementation of CDM Construction Phase H&S Plan
- Daily SIMOP's coordination of installation contractors, including work planning, look-aheads, inter-trade co-ordination, progress monitoring and reporting, construction programme progress updates.
- Production of weekly SOR and monthly safety reports
Experience Required
- Demonstrable Health and Safety Management experience working on Onshore UK Construction Projects within the Process Sector (Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas or COMAH sites) Please note this role is not suitable for those without this experience.
- Minimum NEBOSH qualification
- Demonstrable experience reviewing, writing, adhering to and guiding on site teams in current Health & Safety procedures and legislation.
- Health & Safety Audits
- Update to date CDM experience and knowledge
- Excellent reporting and analysis skills
