Salary £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience

Renishaw have embarked on an ambitious programme to implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 across our global subsidiary network, and we are looking for a motivated IT Project Manager who will contribute to the delivery of the programme by helping with the deployment of D365 and other essential IT projects. 

Responsibilities

• Manage Dynamics 365 deployment projects, alongside implementation partners and Microsoft resources. 

• Manage other IT projects from requirements through to delivery and adoption, working with Renishaw teams and external partners. 

• Create and update project plans and documentation, following compliance and good practices. 

• Solve problems and ensure tasks are done on time, within budget and to high standards. 

• Report regularly on project progress and risks, adapting your communication style to the audience. 

• Learn from experience and provide feedback to improve our processes and performance. 

• Keep project teams motivated and engaged. 

• Consider the human impact of change and communicate well with project stakeholders. 

Key requirements 

• Successful track record of managing multiple technology projects, ideally ERP, through different stages of their lifecycle, using a range of methodologies, e.g. agile and waterfall. 

• Competent using a variety of project management tools and systems, including DevOps platforms, CI/CD pipelines and associated tooling. 

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of collaborating effectively with stakeholders and project teams. 

• Good understanding of key concepts, solutions and technology associated with IT operations, development, and security.  

Person specification 

You will have at least two years of professional experience in managing complex IT projects, having the skills to handle multiple tasks at the same time, and to thrive in the pressures of a dynamic hybrid environment.  

You’ll want to see our IT & Security team making a positive difference in how people work every day, and will enjoy using and maintaining your up-to-date knowledge of technology and best practices to grow your own skills and those of your project teams.  

With the ability to communicate clearly in technical and business domains, you will champion effective planning throughout the organisation.
