We are recruiting for a mechanical fitter to work at a manufacturing site in West Bromwich, B70. This is a permanent job from day one.

The company works on a fixed day shift Monday to Friday completing 40 hours per week, working hours are 8am to 4:30pm. You will receive 33 days holiday per year and have access to a stakeholder pension scheme. Career development will be possible with both internal and external training available.

Key responsibilities for the Mechanical Fitter:

• Completing Mechanical preventative and reactive maintenance work in an industrial environment.
• Installing and modifying equipment and machinery.
• Completing inspections such as, pressure testing, plant integrity and commissioning work.

Candidate requirements for the Mechanical Fitter:

• Level 3 in a practical Mechanical Fitting/Engineering discipline (NVQ, City & Guilds etc.).
• Ability to use and interpret equipment drawings, manuals, and other technical information.

Hours, pay & benefits for the Mechanical Fitter:
