We are currently recruiting for a Screw Pump Operative, to join the team at our Engineering client, based in Nottinghamshire.

They are a well-established and market leading engineering contractor, with strong links to the water and nuclear industries.

This role is field based and will cover the Midlands region.

The Role –Screw Pumps Operative

• As a Screw Pump Operative, you will be responsible for  Working  with Team Leader/ Supervisors on site based activities.
• Be committed to the efficient delivery of site-specific projects to ensure contracts are delivered within appropriate time scales.
• Ensure that Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work are understood and carried out and that any control measures required are implemented in a safe and controlled manner.
• Report any accidents/incidents or near misses that occur during the activities under their control

Must have:

• Mechanical apprenticeship or Level 3 Mechanical qualification as minimum
• Have a proven background in the water industry or gas/oil
• Confined Space training (Current)
• CSCS Card holder
• Have additional field based skill qualifications such as PASMA, MEWP training or Crane operations training.
