Trainee Metal Worker | Oxted | £12 per hour

We are recruiting for a Trainee Metal Worker to join a market leading company based in the Kent area. If you have a keen interest in engineering and enjoy working in a methodical / process driven role then this could be a great opportunity for you! The most important attribute is the ability to show a dedicated attitude and a hunger to learn.

As a Trainee you’ll become an integral part of the production process. Being trained in the use of operating and maintaining Machines, as well as setting up the CNC machines. 

What we’re looking for from applicants include:

• Basic understanding of an engineering environment.
• Prior experience in the use of hand tools (even if as a hobby).
• Potentially some manufacturing experience.
• A genuine desire to start a career.

The starting salary is competitive and there are also opportunities for overtime. Our client also offers a 5 day working week. The working day varies depending on shift but is circa 8 hours daily.
