Some Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections and maintain industrial machinery.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot operational issues with manufacturing equipment.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to plan maintenance schedules.
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and spare parts inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • City and Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Maintenance is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Plant Fitter in an industrial manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, automation systems, and PLCs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in an industrial environment.
