GRADUATE QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Our client is a highly regarded multi-disciplinary consultancy that have been working in the local market for a number of years providing surveying services to a range of clients. Due to growth they are now looking to employ a graduate quantity surveyor who they can help progress through their early career as part of their team in Bristol. They have an excellent track record of successfully supporting surveyors through to chartership.

Role & Responsibilities of the Graduate Quantity Surveyor:

• Advise on costs involved in building projects

• Evaluation of tenders

• Evaluation of costs and advise on alternative proposals

• Provide advice on implications of different construction methods, materials etc

• Prepare bills of quantities

• Preparation of final accounts

Skills & Experience of the Graduate Quantity Surveyor:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying – ideally 2:1 and above

• Some industry experience is beneficial but not essential

• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

• Passion to start and progress through APC

Salary & Benefits:

• £24k-27k starting salary (depending on experience)
