Job role: CNC Supervisor

Salary: £32,000-£35,000 DOE

Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire

Hours: 8.00-16.45 Monday to Thursday, 8.30-13.00 Fridays

· Overtime available @ 1.33x midweek, 1.5x Saturdays

The Role

· Programming, setting and operating CNC and Manual milling and turning machinery to create components to tight tolerances - utilising Prototract, SLZ, Siemens and Shopmill machinery.

· Supervise, lead and provide training for members of the manufacturing team.

· Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure that all components are manufactured correctly and efficiently, meeting production deadlines and timescales.

· Liaise with other managers within the business, assisting with production planning, day to day machining problems and ordering materials and tooling for machinery.

· Ensure that all company Health & Safety procedures are adhered to by you and your team.



The Requirements

· Minimum 5 years experience working within precision engineering, with experience working on both CNC and manual machinery (essential)

· Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (essential)

· Previous supervisory experience within CNC and manufacturing (advantageous)

· Experience working with Protract, SLZ, Siemens and/or Shopmill (advantageous)

· Strong understanding of best tools for the job and feeds (advantageous)

· Strong leadership capabilities or the eagerness to progress into a more managerial/leadership position.
