Salter Grange is now recruiting for a Commercial Manager to join a European Market Leader in the Mission Critical Sector for a high-profile Data Centre in France.
 
This is the ideal opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager with a proven track record of working with Tier One Contractors to take the next step in their career and grow in a company with a healthy pipeline of work and ever-growing demand. You will get the opportunity to work on some of most complex and innovative construction projects with a high-performing commercial team.
 
 
Commercial Manager Responsibilities:
  • Manage and review the commercial performance of the projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure the CCS reporting is formulated accurately and submitted on time.
  • To ensure all projects are driven to provide the best value solutions and delivered on time and within budget.
  • Commercial control of the Division allocated to them.
  • Collation, review presentation, and the management of subsequent actions arising from the monthly cost reviews.
  • Manage the commercial team to engender their continued improvement and technical development.
  • To ensure all projects are driven to provide the best value solutions and delivered on time and within budget.
  • Promote continuous improvement with the commercial discipline of the business.
  • Manage the close of completed projects to the best commercial advantage of the company.
  • Regularly review business processes and promote the evolution of better working practices.
 
Commercial Manager Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Construction Management, or related degree.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Commercial Manager Role, ideally on large fast-paced projects.
  • Mission-critical project experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience leading and managing commercial teams.
