Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (multi-skilled)

Location: Leeds

Hours: 07:00 - 16:00/08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday (flexible on personal preference)

Salary: £46,000 - £50,000 + Bonus (negotiated on experience)

Main Purpose of Job: To maintain, improve and develop automated systems.

Responsible to: Production Manager

Duties:

  • Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance (mechanical and electrical) 
  • Reacting to breakdowns.
  • Diagnosing Faults.
  • Repairing Equipment.
  • Obtaining components.
  • Improving Consistency of Production Processes.
  • Proactive and reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Servicing and maintaining manufacturing machinery/tools.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong understanding and proven track record in maintenance engineering.
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong understanding of welding/fabrication
  • a desire to continually improve technical knowledge and use latest technology
  • Experience working in an automated manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Experience working with Robot Arms (advantageous, not essential)
  • Understanding of CAD, Solid works & Inventor is desired
