EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a skilled CAD CAM Programmer to join a precision engineering company located in North Nottinghamshire, working on a permanent basis.

Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

EMBS Engineering is working on an exclusive basis, supporting our prestigious client who is a specialist in manufacturing complex, detailed components for various industries, that supplies lucrative customers across the globe. Holding a rich heritage, and having smashed their annual objectives 2 years in a row, achieving their best results to date, the company is in the market for a CAD-CAM Programmer to support their continued success.

Your responsibilities include:

• Programming multi-axis CNC Milling / Turning / Mill-Turn machines using offline controls such as Seimens NX / FeatureCAM software
• Proving out programs using Vericut 
• Working from Engineering drawings / 3D models

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

• Minimum of 3 years programming CNC Milling / Turning / Mill-Turn machines using offline controls     
• Siemens NX / FeatureCAM would be desirable, however other packages may be considered 
• Understanding of Fanuc CNC controls
• Worked with multi-pallet, multi-axis machines 
• Knowledge of implementing tool offset management
• Ability to work from engineering drawings and 3D models
• Previous experience in producing programs for complex components, ideally within aerospace, motorsport, nuclear, oil & gas or medical sectors
