Cad Designer

Our client, based in Aylesbury, are seeking an experienced CAD Designer to join their growing team. This is being recruited for an immediate start on a Permanent basis. Company specialise in Precision Engineering.
As a CAD Designer. duties will include:
- Produce product designs, manufacturing methodologies, costings, and documents
- Collaboration with technical team to understand the customer requirements/needs to find solutions utilising standard/existing products where possible
- Manage technical and sales projects
- quotations for parts during busy times or holiday in the technical department
- Record creation and upkeep within the Company’s engineering policies in the ERP system
- CAD file manipulation
- Create engineering drawings for use both internally and externally
Role & Candidate requirements:
- Technical and working Knowledge of CAD
- Previous experience as CAD designer (Work or Studies)
- Have a strong skillset with Solid works / In-Design
- Previous working knowledge of Manufacturing processes
- Practical and analytical approach to problems and challenges
- High organised & flexible
- Have the confident and competency to implement process improvements
Advantageous:
- 2-5+ years in a Mechanical Design Engineer Role
- Project Management experience is a plus
Benefits:
- Salary on offer, depending on experience at £25,000 - £40,000
