Motorhome Habitation Technician required in Andover.

A not-to-miss opportunity for a Habitation Technician has become available with our client, a family run motorhome sales/service business situated in Andover.

Reporting to the Service Manager and working as part of a friendly team in a recently built workshop as well as working with some of the leading motorhome brands in the UK, in this role your key responsibilities shall include:

• Servicing and repairing of motorhomes.
• Electrical and gas installation and repairs
• Damp testing.
• Motorhome Pre-delivery inspections and preparation.
• Fitting and retrofitting of ancillary equipment such as bike racks, awnings, TV aerials and solar panels.
• Insurance and warranty work.
• General customer service. 
• Perform other duties in support of other team members as required.

In order to be eligible for the role you will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of Andover, have a manual UK driving licence with minimal points and have some experience in a similar manual work sector (ideally a position that involves electrical and gas installation and repairs). Previous experience in a habitation role in the leisure vehicle or marine industry would be highly advantageous but is non-essential as full training would be provided. Overall you will have a friendly and approachable demeanour, be keen and eager to learn with the capability to retain new skills and information, be a team player, have strong organisational and time management skills and be willing to undertake an exciting new challenge in the motorhome industry.
