Salter Grange is now recruiting for an enthusiastic and independent Junior MEP Engineer to join a Leading Specialist Engineering Contractor that operates across Europe’s Data Centre, Life Sciences, residential, and Commercial sectors in the Pre-Construction Department of a €2B successful business.

The Junior MEP Engineer will join the preconstruction team and work together with high-performing project managers to prepare project proposals for highly regarded clients.

Junior MEP Engineer Responsibilities:

• Review subcontract proposals and develop technical/commercial comparison for evaluation and selection of preferred bidder
• Engage with designers for proposals on detailed design development.
• Review the project design and examine if alternative construction methods can be implemented.
• Review the construction methodology to identify program implications and any necessary temporary works.
• Review requirements for lifting and cranes and develop a crane strategy for the project.
• Identify project risks and mitigation plans to deal with these risks.
• Review project logistics to identify temporary works necessary to build and manage the project.
• Identify site setup and compound and detail out needs for the project preliminaries.

Junior MEP Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelors/Master of Science in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience as an engineer in construction or engineering.
