We are looking for somebody who will enjoy working on an unbelievable outdoor automotive test track facility where you will see the very latest cars (including autonomous vehicles!), motorcycles, military vehicles, and trucks being tested and developed every day!

This Grounds Maintenance Operative job will suit:

• You will need a full UK driving licence as there is a requirement to drive across different parts of the test circuits.
• The role will involve working outside 80% of the time all year round so you will need to be comfortable with this – all PPE, cold/wet weather clothing is provided.
• Any experience within a grounds maintenance, groundskeeper or similar facilities maintenance role would be advantageous but we are really looking to recruit a candidate with good practical skills to support all areas of maintaining automotive test track facilities.

This Grounds Maintenance Operative job will involve:

• Maintenance and upkeep of an automotive test track to always ensuring its safe operation.
• Repair and installation of low and high-pressure irrigation systems.
• Maintenance and repair of the test track road surface.
• Preparing test circuits for specific automotive testing taking place.
• Some operation of small plant equipment e.g., ride on mowers.
