As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital buildings in the Wirral. You'll be responsible for a wide range of maintenance duties, including preventive maintenance tasks, reactive repairs, and general upkeep of the facilities.

Your main objective will be to provide a full and comprehensive maintenance service, ensuring that all building systems and equipment are operating efficiently and safely.

Whether it's fixing electrical faults, performing plumbing repairs, or conducting routine inspections, your expertise will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of safety and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Undertake carpentry & joinery tasks, floor, wall and ceiling tile replacement, roof repairs, plaster repairs, brickwork, drainage, and other works associated with the upkeep and maintenance of the building fabric.
• Assist in replacement of components and systems as part of life cycle obligations.
• Liaise with external contractors and other staff.

Essential Qualifications/Skills

• Experience of hands on repairs, e.g self managed DIY projects
• Healthcare experience would be beneficial
