Electrical Testing Engineer

Are you an electrician with experience in testing and inspecting, looking to work a local patch, for a rapidly growing but well-established company with limited stay-aways? This role may be the one for you!

The company is a specialist service provider across the petrol fueling and EV Charging industries and is partnered with some of the Industry giants to provide specialist electrical testing installation, services, and reactive works to hazardous sites.

This is a Monday to Friday position with limited stay-aways operating within a local patch to the candidate. Within this role, the successful candidate will receive a route of jobs for the following week, where they will attend the sites to perform Hazardous Area Inspections, PAT Testing, EICR Reports, and some basic remedial tasks to the client's facility whilst focusing on health & safety and offering a brilliant service to the customer.

The ideal candidate will be fully electrically qualified, holding their 18th edition certification, 2391 Inspection & Testing, and ECS card or related. They will have a minimum of 2 years experience within a similar role and must hold their COMPEX 1-4 or 7&8 due to the role being within hazardous areas. The candidate will also have a passion for working and look for career and self-development opportunities whilst also wanting to stay close to home.

The Role:

• Perform Hazardous area inspections
• Produce EICR Reports to a high quality
• Perform Testing and inspection tasks on customer sites
• Perform basic remedial works

The Candidate:

• 18th Edition Qualified
• ECS Gold Card or related certification
• 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent
• COMPEX 14 or 7&8
• Strong faultfinding acumen
