Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead the day-to-day manufacturing activities on-site. This pivotal role involves ensuring daily targets are met while collaborating across the business to identify and implement improvements in operations and processes, aligning with the company's growth objectives.

You will work closely with the manufacturing teams to develop a culture of best practice and drive development initiatives, raising the bar for what is possible in this progressive and driven leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead teams and drive the achievement of production metrics.
  • Monitor performance and provide timely reports.
  • Identify and implement lean initiatives for process optimization.
  • Collaborate across departments to develop systems supporting improvement activities.
  • Support functions such as Quality, Safety, Warehousing, and Logistics in achieving operational excellence.
  • Mentor and develop staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Set and monitor KPIs to drive performance improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and HR procedures.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to enhance team performance.
  • Cultivate a collaborative culture to maximize departmental effectiveness.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or Manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical and practical skills with a logical approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and adaptable management style.
  • Experience in managing capex projects and driving operational improvements.
  • Proficient in continuous improvement methodologies with a commitment to best practices.
