Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) engineering? Covering the Anglian Water region we are looking for a PLC Software Engineer to focus in the Water, Wastewater, and Power sectors.

Your Impact: As a PLC Software Engineer, you'll make a direct impact by:


·Getting hands-on with PLC software from top brands like Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron, and Schneider.
·Designing, developing, programming, and rigorously testing PLC systems.
·Crafting and interpreting logic and flow diagrams to ensure smooth program design, simulation, and testing.
·Actively troubleshooting and resolving operational issues.
·Specifying, designing, and implementing programs for seamless equipment installation.
·Taking the lead in on-site commissioning of automation devices and providing expert technical support.
 
What we're looking for:


Essential:


·You have a qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and solid experience in system software engineering.
·A minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in PLC Programming.
·You hold a valid driving license.

Desired:


·You've worked in the water/wastewater industry before.
·You're comfortable working with electrical control panels.
·You have practical experience with Automation & Process Control Equipment.
