For the successful Mechanical Fitter our client is offering:

• Up to £33,400 basic salary + Overtime
• Monday to Friday 8am - 16:30pm 
• Permanent role
• 23 days annual leave + bank holidays 
• Death in service 
• Holiday buy/sell scheme

The Role - Mechanical Fitter:

• Mechanical fitting, maintenance and assembly
• Working on gearboxes, generators, pumps and bearings
• Working on small and large marine crafts
• Stripping and overhauling marine crafts
• Working as part of a team to finish projects within deadlines

What our client is looking for in a Mechanical Fitter:

• Experience working on small marine crafts ESSENTIAL 
• Time served or apprentice trained mechanical fitter or NVQ level 3 in mechanical engineering ESSENTIAL 
• Knowledge if marine engines and propulsion systems ESSENTIAL 
• Experience working from engineering drawings ESSENTIAL 
• Great attention to detail ESSENTIAL
