Assistant Manager

Location:
Yeovil
We are looking to recruit an Assistant Manager whose primary duty will be to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining high-quality standards and efficient stock management. You'll collaborate closely with the GM, assisting in various managerial tasks such as team leadership, scheduling, and performance monitoring. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the GM in leading and managing the Team
  • Manage production schedules to meet customer demands and business objectives
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance
  • Ensure adherence to company procedures including health and safety and quality standards.
  • Provide regular reports to the GM on production performance
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Prepare sales reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
  • Maintain proficiency in company business and IT systems.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Background in Engineering, Quality, or Process Engineering preferred.
  • Familiarity with HR policies and man management
