Thermal Vacuum Test Engineer - Contract

Overview:
Thermal Vacuum test engineer required to join the environmental test laboratory team.
Supporting the test requirements of internal business units and external commercial customers.

Internal & External Relationships:
Liaise with all internal projects and external customers to provide a professional testing service.

Main Activities:
Perform thermal vacuum testing on space and commercial hardware.
Perform temperature/humidity testing on space and commercial hardware.
Post-processing data test and reporting.
Working to national and international standards.
Review test procedures, raise quotations against external customer specifications.
Managing calibration of test equipment.
Assist with costs and scheduling.
Maintenance of the associated test facilities.

Requirements:
Engineering apprenticeship HNC, Engineering Degree or equivalent
Experience of testing in a laboratory environment.

Ability to work flexible hours weekend/shift working on a rotating pattern.
Overtime after 37Hrs and shift uplifts available
- Early Shift 6am -2pm
- Late Shift 2pm - 10pm
- Night Shift 10pm - 6am
