HGV Technician (Day shift)

£42k+ Overtime

Our customer is looking for a HGV Technician to join their growing team on a full time basis. They are looking for someone to work site based at their workshop in Cardiff. This will be working for a main dealer, joining a team of 10 technicians. If you have any experience in servicing, repairing and conducting maintenance on HGV vehicles please apply below!

As HGV Technician you will:

• Undertake maintenance and repair activities on HGV's of all types
• To diagnose faults, carry out tests on vehicles and effect permanent and complete repairs.
• Mechanical repairs on diesel engines, hydraulics etc.
• Completing paperwork and procedures relating to warranty, contract & retail work.
• Preventative maintenance work to minimise unnecessary customer costs.

The ideal candidate will have the below:

• Experience in the diagnosis, servicing, maintenance and repair of HGV Vehicles.
• HGV/PSV/ Main Dealer experience
• Undertaken manufacturers training courses and maintained knowledge of work methods and technical data.
• Full and current UK driving licence, an LGV licence is preferred but not essential.
• A friendly, confident, and professional manner with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a larger team as well as on their own initiative.
