The Job:
- Creation of dispatch paperwork
- Booking of goods with logistics partners – both ours & our customers
- Organisation of weights & dims so bookings can be made
- Creation of manifests & commercial invoices
- Control of POD’s on to system in digital & hard copy format
- Ensuring all costs are allocated to the budget for carriage outwards
- Download of tachometer data from 7.5-ton vehicle
- Prepared to be trained on requirements for exporting of goods out of the UK
- Ensure all paperwork is correct & procedures are followed daily
- Work within the requirements of ISO9001-2015
- Willingness to be trained & ambition to progress further into a supervisory role• Understand the H&S requirements for the working areaReport near misses & accidents
- Ensuring staff are following the correct processes’ & procedures & report non-compliance
The Person:
- Good administration skills – happy to handle paperwork including daily filing
- Able to use a production software system – IT literate
- Can use excel & word to a good level
- Flexible working – dependent on when loading is occurring
- Driven & dynamic – get the work out the door cost effectively
- Experience in working in a factory/dispatch environment
- Outgoing personality – happy to deal with staff & drivers
- Attention to detail – can check work & find errors if they exist
- Positive mental attitude & a good problem solver
