Due to company growth , my client, an leading  UKAS testing company based near Burton Upon Trent  are looking to recruit a Certification Engineer to join their existing team on a permanent basis. 

As a Certification Engineer, candidates will be required to check incoming material certification to national and international standards to ensure all required documentation is in place per product .

Interested candidates will ideally be Degree qualified in a relevant discipline ( Mechanical Engineering/ Materials Science) with a demonstrable background within a similar role with working knowledge of quality/ materials documentation. Knowledge of Oil and Gas/ Nuclear quality standards if advantageous 

Recent Graduates with a relevant degree will also be considered

This position is based on days and available for an immediate start.

Hours - Mon - Thurs 0830 - 1700 / Friday 0830 - 15.30

Role Description

• Handle filing, uploading, downloading and printing of documents.
• Collating material test certificates
• Ensuring all customer and international standards are adhered too.
• Collating information to produce thorough reports.
• Regularly liaise with clients
• Attending PIM’s when required
• Inspecting relevant Quality Assurance documentation
• Raising purchase orders when required

Skills & Attributes

• Ideally degree qualified in a relevant discipline ( Mechanical Engineering/ Material Science)
• Experience working with quality / materials documentation within an Engineering/ Manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of quality standards uses in the Oil and Gas / Nuclear sector (advantageous)
