Are you a Software Engineer or Software Development Engineer or Software Developer looking for a software engineering role with lots of flexibility – work from home most of the time (if you prefer) and flexible working hours. We are looking for a Software Engineer / Software Development Engineer with a C / C++ software coding background.

The company develop and produce industry leading data acquisition, automation and data management software platforms and applications used within engineering research and development environments to automate the testing of fuel cells, batteries, engines, propulsion systems and other advanced technology systems.

Your background as a Software Engineer / Software Development Engineer / Software Developer:

• C / C++ software development in a real time environment, ideally for Windows / Blackberry QNX.
• You will be degree qualified in a software, engineering, scientific or similar technical discipline.
• Experience or familiarity with agile software development process and tools (SCRUM, Kanban etc…).

Your Software Engineer / Software Development Engineer / Software Developer role will involve:

• Development of class leading data acquisition, automation and data management software platforms and applications used within engineering R&D environments.
• Software development of device drivers and real-time components, coding in C/C++ for a Windows and BlackBerry QNX environment.  
• Contribute to real-time system architecture and design concepts.
• Automated validation and verification testing of application code.
• Working within an agile software development framework.
• You will be working in a truly global business so will have the opportunity to work collaboratively on software development projects with globally distributed teams.
