Job Title:             Quality Engineer

Salary:                 Up to £37k plus benefits (4 or 4.5 working day options)

Location;             Greater Manchester, Manchester, Lancashire

Specialist Manufacturing & Engineering recruiter Martin Anthony Recruitment is working with a leading manufacturer. They are looking for a Quality Engineer to drive quality within our product range.

The ideal candidate will have experience in CMM Programming.

Quality Engineer responsibilities:

• Support production by investigating non-forming products and putting in place corrective and preventative actions.
• Be actively involved in activity associated with NPI, engineering change and source change.
• Ensure all PPAPs and FAIRs are completed in the correct format for the customer.
• Investigate and resolve customer & supplier problems.
• Generate & review Procedures, Quality Plans, Process FMEAs, Control Plans, Inspection Plans, SOPs etc
• Report departmental KPIs.
• Audit both internally and supply chain.
• Handle product & process approvals and authorisation.
• Provide technical support & liaise between Quality, Engineering, and other departments.
• To control the CMM programs
• Produce new CMM programs to drawings and engineering layout, for new and updated components.
• Review existing programs to establish effectiveness, accuracy, and correct output to drawings (nominals and tolerances).

Quality Engineer Experience:

• Must be an experienced Quality Engineer
• Experience ideally with machined parts
• CMM Programming experience
