Position Overview: our Clients are seeking an experienced Welder to join our team in Cardiff. As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in fabricating, repairing, and maintaining heavy plant machinery, demolition equipment, recycling machinery, and racking systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, repair, and maintain heavy plant machinery, demolition equipment, recycling machinery, and racking systems.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
• Perform welding operations using various techniques and equipment.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure all work meets company standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Welder, with a focus on heavy plant machinery, demolition equipment, recycling machinery, and racking systems.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Valid welding certifications preferred.
