Source Solutions are working with a well-known and continually growing marine services business, to recruit a skilled Service Engineer to work at one of their major sites on Portsmouth Dockyard, completing a range of installation, repair and overhaul works.
The role will see the candidate working with numerous systems and installations across a variety of vessels and would suit someone who has worked either on board or in drydock in the past, who is looking for a secure permanent position with development opportunities.
Whilst you will work predominantly in Portsmouth Docks, there are also opportunities for work elsewhere in the country and overseas on occasion.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience with ship systems such as:
- Pumps, Water Systems, Fuel Systems, Hydraulics
- Experience in fitting/installations, overhaul, servicing and repairs of mechanical systems
- Some formal engineering education (ideally Level 3, although level 2 can be considered with training required)
