An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a successful Main Dealer group located in Barnsley.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Diagnostic Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

The ideal Motor Trade Diagnostic Technician will be fully qualified and experienced within the Diagnostic Technician role.

Typical Duties as a Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Mechanic include but are not limited to:

• Maintain, service and repair vehicles to the highest standard
• Undertake diagnostic work and inspections
• Communicate with customers and service advisors
• Ensure that all jobs are completed efficiently

Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Mechanic Requirements:

• City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification
• Previous experience of diagnostic work
• High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
• Flexible and able to work to a schedule as part of a team

The salary of this Diagnostic Technician role is up to £43,000 OTE.

Hours of work in this Diagnostic Technician role are Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00.
